Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest international gift-giving campaign, run by Samaritan's Purse . Its aim is to bring joy to underprivileged children by filling an empty shoebox with small gifts. Often, it's the first gift these children have ever received.
The shoe boxes collected in German-speaking countries are handed over at the beginning of November each year and then sent to Eastern European countries.
For several years now, we at Destiny Church e.V. have also supported this wonderful Christmas project and were able to send a total of 640 shoeboxes on their way last year. Season 26 is already in preparation; you will soon find all the information on how you can participate here.

Current project
"Operation Christmas Child" is celebrating its birthday! Over the past 30 years, millions of Christmas shoeboxes have been distributed in crisis zones, Eastern Europe, Africa, and South America. In the 2026 season, we want to bring joy to children's eyes once again with lovingly filled shoeboxes and give children in need a special Christmas treat. Relief supplies for Albania
Autumn 2026
The next collection of relief supplies is planned for autumn 2026 ; a specific date has not yet been set. Please only collect and donate items that are in very good and clean condition – we want to bless the people there. You can find exactly what is needed and all the details under the "Needed Items" button. Important : The aid supplies must be packed in banana boxes, if possible. You can find these in almost any supermarket.
The Allianzmission e.V. ( Auslandshilfe) is transporting the relief supplies to the country approximately 1,300 km away. If you would like to support the transport with a donation, that would be a great help! Please use the "Donation Allianzmission" button, which will take you directly to the Allianzmission website, and specify " Destiny Church - LWAAC Albania " in the payment reference so that the donation can be correctly allocated.
