The "Operation Christmas Child 2026" season has begun! This year, we once again want to bring joy to children's eyes with lovingly filled shoeboxes and give underprivileged children a special Christmas treat. You can find all the information about our Christmas project here:
Operation Christmas Child 26
a gift campaign from Samaritan's Purse
collection week: November 9-16
Under the motto "It's all about Jesus", Operation Christmas Child brings special joy to children in distressing life situations at Christmas through lovingly filled shoeboxes and conveys the message:
YOU are valuable, YOU are special, YOU are loved!
Shoe boxes packed in German-speaking countries are given to children in Eastern European countries such as Montenegro, Estonia, Poland, Moldova, Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia, Romania, Ukraine, etc., who often receive a gift for the first time in their lives.
We support this worldwide project by Samaritan's Purse , the umbrella organization for Operation Christmas Child, and would like to invite you to be part of this wonderful Christmas campaign. Option 2:
Support our fundraising campaign , which we launched on Betterplace, with an amount of your choice. Of course, you will receive a donation receipt.

Why donate additionally? Samaritan's Purse uses the donation not only for transporting the parcels, but also for supporting volunteers (f.e. in the 'Weihnachtswerkstatt'). Furthermore, Samaritan's Purse raises awareness of the campaign in Germany and supports church communities in the recipient countries with distribution and the implementation of the "The Greatest Journey" course. In 2024, €10.78 was invested for each child who received a gift.

Donations in kind
If you would like to support Operation Christmas Child with donations, you can find a list of needed items here. Please note that due to import regulations in some countries, we can only accept new items . Please contact us by email so we can arrange delivery.
Packing party
Last year, thanks to an additional fundraising campaign launched on Betterplace for our packing party, we were able to fill 250 shoe boxes with many wonderful gifts for boys and girls aged 5-9.
Our vision is to pack even more boxes this year and extend the gifts to other age groups as well. Your donation will bring us a step closer to this goal! Of course, Betterplace will provide you with a donation receipt for tax purposes.
