Love Our City
Our WHY
Love Our City (LoC) is our ministry in Ansbach, Munich, Nuremberg, and Rosenheim, through which we want to bring God's love to people in a tangible and visible way. We fulfill God's commission to care for the poor and lonely of this world, to love our neighbor as ourselves, and thus become "doers" of the Word.
Jesus himself serves as our example here. As his followers, our lives should be characterized by love, compassion, mercy, and service to our fellow human beings – just as it is written in God's Word:

Through LOC, we offer a helping hand and get actively involved; we encourage and listen, offer hope, comfort and our time, and provide support and companionship.

Our PROJECTS
(international)
We support the organization " Living Water - Adopt A Child" (LWAAC), which cares for poor children and needy adults in Albania and Guatemala. Through sponsorships in both countries, people are supported in the name of Jesus with life-sustaining food as well as medical and dental care.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
A huge thank you to everyone who packed boxes, donated, or actively supported the "Operation Christmas Child 2025" campaign. We only achieved this fantastic result with your help! 640 children will experience a very special Christmas and perhaps even hold the very first gift of their lives – 1280 children's eyes will light up!
And best of all, they have the opportunity to learn about Jesus!
Packparty
Thanks to the proceeds from our Betterplace fundraising campaign, we were able to fill 250 shoeboxes at our packing party. Many thanks to the generous donors, everyone who helped out, and Duschl Ingenieure for providing us with their premises. If you'd like to see what we packed into the boxes, please watch our video:

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
In 2023, we were able to contribute to the success of the global Operation Christmas Child campaign with around 170 lovingly packed shoeboxes, donations totaling €1,600 and a generous donation of 280 pairs of brand new children's shoes from "Schuh Langmeier". In 2024, we were able to increase this even further and gave children in Eastern Europe an unforgettable Christmas with over 400 shoeboxes, donations of more than €5,400 and donations in kind valued at €2,800.
We are already looking forward to the next season!
LWAAC
The organization Living Water - Adopt A Child looks after poor children and needy adults in Albania and Guatemala, among other things by arranging sponsorships. There are also various projects that you can support to alleviate the suffering there. After we had already sent school supplies and clothing to Albania, last year we were able to pass on donations of €2,600, which we collected through various activities (e.g. singing Christmas Carols in old people's homes, hospitals and rehabilitation centers), to LWAAC.
HELP FOR ROMANIA
Destiny Church Romania supports an aid organization that cares for orphans and those in need. We were able to send a van filled to the brim with relief supplies to where the need was greatest: after a flood, people had lost almost everything and were able to regain hope through the donations we collected.
EMERGENCY HELP
Among other things, we were on site after the floods in the Ahrtal (2021) and also in Rosenheim (2024) and actively helped with the clean-up work.
TIME FOR SENIORS
We regularly visit elderly people in nursing homes , spend a little time with them, banish loneliness with a nice chat or help with events in the house. If a trip to the doctor is necessary at short notice, we are also there.
COMMUNITY HELP
The number of people in Germany who need support from the food bank is constantly increasing. We are happy to help with assembling or distributing food.
